 We manage all aspects of forest operations. This includes timber reccy, layout, harvesting, hauling, road construction & rehabilitation, log sales, and reforestation. 

We specialize in partial cutting - which is the preferred harvesting and silviculture method of most of our private timberland clients.

We also design, build, and operate log yards, chipping, and grinding operations.

 A key focus of our log sales & brokerage service is to maximize profit for our clients.

This involves considering the harvesting, processing, and hauling costs of all possible fibre products to all possible buyers.

We have built a proprietary log appraisal  system that compares and evaluates harvesting and sales options. This ensures we get the right log - to the right mill - at the best return. 

 We manage large areas of private timberland.  Our clients include many of the largest cattle ranches in BC with substantial timber holdings.

On private land we often use partial cutting  and manage for a range of values including visual quality, wildlife habitat,  range and forage production, and access control.

Our private land clients often desire full rehabilitation of roads and landings - careful consideration of access management - and grass seeding (aerial and/or ground-based). 

We work with clients on managing all aspects of Woodlots, BCTS timber sales, and Community Forests on public lands.

With our partners we complete management plans, cutting permits, road and block layout, timber cruising, log sales, harvesting, logging supervision, hauling, silviculture - and road construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation.

We have extensive experience in valuing public and private timberlands for mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions.

We provide  appraisals and opinions of timber value for real estate transactions, individual blocks of timber, and large forest areas and timberlands covering thousands of hectares with multi-million dollar valuations.

Our consulting services focus on developing solutions for operational problems using quantitative, analytical, and scientific methods.  We often provide expertise on scaling, cruising, and other operational sampling programs.

We have extensive experience in feasibility studies for timber harvesting and log and fibre processing facilities - small and large.

Members of our team are often asked to provide expert witness services for legal cases relating to technical, operational, and quantitative  aspects of the forest industry.
